Ten years after his death, the exhibition ‘H.R. Giger: Beyond Alien’ is a major tribute to one of the most fascinating and controversial artists of the second half of the 20th century. Over seventy original works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, design objects and videos from the Giger Museum, represent the richest collection of the master’s works ever exhibited in Italy after his death.
The centrepiece of the exhibition is, of course, the Xenomorph, Giger’s most famous and perhaps most unwieldy creation, the alien monster created for director Ridley Scott and the centrepiece of the entire Alien universe. An exhibition for Giger fans, but not only, an immersive exhibition to admire live some of the most iconic pieces, but also to discover lesser known aspects of the Swiss artist.
